Emily Ruskovich is a professor at the University of Montana and received an MA in English from the University of New Brunswick, Canada, and an MFA from the Iowa Writers’ Workshop. Her debut novel, Idaho, was a national bestseller, and it won the Pacific Northwest Book Award and the Dublin Literary Award. Ruskovich was a James C. McCreight Fiction Fellow at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Her fiction has appeared in Zoetrope, One Story, and The Virginia Quarterly Review, and she won the O. Henry Award for her story “Owl.”
