Product Safety

To ensure compliance with GPSR, which went into effect December 2024, Penguin Random House has taken the following steps:

1. We have obtained an EU Authorized Representative. The authorized representative in the EU for product safety questions, or to report an accident or safety issue regarding any Penguin Random House product is:

2. Copyright pages for PRH products are being updated to include physical and digital addresses for both manufacturer and EU authorized representatives as GPSR requires. This will apply to printings going forward. Our physical address is 1745 Broadway, New York NY 10019. Our digital address is www.penguinrandomhouse.com.

3. We are updating our title data feeds (ONIX 3.0 and ONIX 3.1) to include the required product safety contact via the <productcontact> composite, so it can be made available to retail partners electronically at the title level. We anticipate ONIX updates to be completed by January 2025. If you require this information sooner, please contact your international sales representative.
