Marcie Roche lives in a house on a hill with her husband Mervyn and a little dog named Girlie. Marcie loves to tell stories and sometimes climb mountains.

Mateja Lukežic is a leading Slovenian freelance illustrator based in Ljubljana, Slovenia. She is renowned among many children’s publishers for her colorful and playful illustration style; her work has appeared in a number of children’s magazines and Kidslit picture books, and been featured on a variety of products. Her textured, fun style is inspired by everyday life, nature, and animals. When she is not drawing, she loves spending time with her dog and family in nature or reading books and watching cartoons.
