Dr. Mehmet Oz is a cardiothoracic surgeon, professor at Columbia University, New York Times bestselling author, and television personality. Dr. Oz was a regular guest on both The Oprah Winfrey Show and Larry King Live before hosting his own daily program, The Dr. Oz Show.
Dr. Oz received his undergraduate degree in biology at Harvard University and his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. Dr. Oz has been called one of Time magazine’s “100 Most Influential People” and one of Esquire magazine’s “75 Most Influential People of the 21st Century.”
