The movie everyone’s been talking about has just dropped: Wuthering Heights, starring Margot Robbie as Catherine Earnshaw and Jacob Elordi as Heathcliff. The film is based on Emily Brontë’s classic novel, Wuthering Heights, where Catherine, a high-class woman, is forced to choose between an all-consuming love with Heathcliff and a gentle, expected love with Edgar. Although the film adaptation’s casting and romance-centered marketing sparked debate online, it has still been a widely anticipated film. If you found yourself loving the classic in a new form, you’re in the right place. Find some of our classic retelling picks below!
