Remembering Cormac McCarthy

Pulitzer Prize-winning author Cormac McCarthy passed away at 89 on June 13, after confirmation from his son John McCarthy. McCarthy was known for his dark literature and his rich prose. Award-winning author, Annie Proulx, and literary critic Harold Bloom, both explain how influential and life-changing McCarthy’s literary works were. Some of his most critically acclaimed works developed movie adaptations such as All The Pretty Horses, The Road, and No Country For Old Men, which are listed below in honor of his passing.
