New York Times Bestsellers from Penguin Random House- September 11, 2016

With over seventy titles on the New York Times Bestseller list, this week was another excellent week for Penguin Random House and distribution client titles. Of those seventy-odd titles, six hold the top spot in their category:

The Girl on the Train by Paula HawkinsThe Underground Railroad, by Colson Whitehead, continues at #1 on the Hardcover Fiction list. After being named the next Oprah Book Club pick, The Underground Railroad has continued to interest readers around the globe.

The Girl on the Train, by Paula Hawkins, continues at #1 on the Paperback Trade Fiction list and the movie tie-in edition of the book made its debut at #1 on the Mass-Market Fiction list. The movie is scheduled to release on October 5th in the UK and October 7th in the US (click here for release dates by country).Wonder by R.J. Palacio

The Boys in the Boat, by Daniel James Brown, continues at #1 on the Paperback Nonfiction list. It has now been on the New York Times Bestseller list for 118 weeks!

Wonder, by R.J. Palacio, is #1 again on the Middle Grade Hardcover list. It has been on the list for 55 weeks and also has a movie version on the way.

The Book Thief, by Markus Zusak, is #1 on the Young Adult Paperback list this week. It has also been on the New York Times Bestseller list for 55 weeks!
