Andy Weir, author of THE MARTIANĀ (Crown/Broadway), won the John W. Campbell Award for Best New Writer this past weekend at the 74th World Science Fiction Convention, which was also the site of the 2016 Hugo Award presentations. The John W. Campbell Award honors the best new professional science fiction or fantasy writer of 2014 or 2015.
