It was another great week for Penguin Random House titles on the New York Times Bestseller list. Oprah’s latest book club pick, The Underground Railroad by Colson Whitehead (Doubleday), shot up the Hardcover Fiction Bestseller list to #1. On the Hardcover Nonfiction list, When Breath Becomes Air by Paul Kalanithi (Random House) also moved up, going from #7 to #2.
On the Mass-Market Fiction Bestseller list, Rogue Lawyer by John Grisham (Bantam), X by Sue Grafton (Penguin), Fool Me Once by Harlan Coben (Dutton), and Me Before You by Jojo Moyes (Penguin) took the top four spots at #1, #2, #3, and #4 respectively. With the forthcoming movie, Inferno by Dan Brown (Anchor) returned to the Mass-Market Fiction Bestseller list at #10. The movie tie-in export edition (pictured right) will be available on September 20th, 2016.
Two Random House Children’s books, Hilo Book 1: The Boy Who Crashed to Earth and Hilo Book 2: Saving the Whole Wide World by Judd Winick, returned to the Hardcover Graphic Books Bestseller list this week at #9 and #8.
And, originally published in 2012, Suicide Squad: Kicked in the Teeth, by Adam Glass and Federico Dallocchio (DC Comics), returned to the Paperback Graphic Books Bestseller list this week.
