Kids can look forward to another helping of “Dragons Love Tacos.”
Dial Books for Young Readers, an imprint of Penguin Random House, announced Thursday that a follow-up to the best-selling picture book is scheduled for May 2017. “Dragons Love Tacos 2: The Sequel” will again be written by Adam Rubin and illustrated by Daniel Salmieri. It will bring back the goofy gang of taco lovers.
Spoiler alert: The new book will include a time machine and a serious dilemma — the tacos have been eaten. Among the sequels Rubin had considered: “Ogres Love Ice Cream,” “Dragons Love Nachos,” “Dragons Love Tacos: In Space” and “Dragons Love Christmas.”
